Merici College Mission
This design, commissioned by Merici College, incorporates the school colours, four school values, important school symbols and the school house symbols - united, these elements highlight the overall school mission and use art to enhance one of their outdoor spaces.
Murals in schools resonate with me particularly, as these environments and formative years can play a key role in forming young people’s values and worldview.
Creating positive, meaningful murals can foster a sense of identity, belonging, and wellbeing.
I believe these factors are invaluable in places such as schools, where students are constantly learning, not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
